In MacOS I was able to be replaced, the emoticons skype emoticons with some custom, initially designed for Adium, it is very easy.
Just go to the folder / Applications / Skype / Contents / Resources / Emoticons
them find the default set of emoticons.
To make your emoticon Simply create a folder, rename the. SkypeEmoticonset, now access the folder, copiateci within your emoticons, create the file and Edit it Emoticons.plist following the structure of that file in the folder AnimatedEmoticons.SkypeEmoticonsset.
That's all!

Ps I have not tried it on windows, but soon I'll see if it is feasible there as well.
pps at the time this method allows the sostiutire emoticons skype with another package, I'm thinking of a way of "smart" so that more than one set of emoticons are simultaneously active.
