Venice 06 29/07/2006
The day begun early in the morning, in fact we had to leave to avoid possible queues at the frontier.
Our destination was Venice, the out of time city.
We woke up early in the morning and we left immediately. We were really lucky and at 10 o' clock.
Wether was fine, not too hot but sunny. A perfect wether to visit a city!
Bubu has already visited Venice in past so she was my guide!
First of all we went to Rialto bridge, a high bridge from where you have a fantastic view of the Grand Canal.
During the path to Rialto bridge we looked all the shop windows looking for a mask to buy as souvenir.
The choice was hard, in fact there are a lot shops which sells mask!
Then, after having some picture, we went to visit San Marco.
Venice is the city of lovers.
Only when i was there, i understood the real reason.
Being in Venice with your kindred spirit is something unspeakable, you feel burning from the inside...all is magic, everything is magic.
When you arrive you remain breathless!
Piazza San Marco is a wonderful square dominated by the overshadowing San Marco's cathedral from a side and from two columns on top of which there are a statue of San Marco's Lion and on the other a statue of San Marco.
Unluckily we had to come back to the motor vessel, we've finished our holiday.
